Inventory of Urban Health Related Data covering the Greater Toronto Area - Supporting Documentation

The Joint Centre of Excellence for Research on Immigration and Settlement (CERIS)

The Joint Centre of Excellence for Research on Immigration and Settlement -- Toronto (CERIS) conducts policy-oriented research relevant to immigration and to the integration of immigrants and refugees into the economic, social, political and cultural life of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

CERIS has two types of data. The "Metropolis Data" (which is under the link of that name) is only available to CERIS affiliates and a formal data request must be made to the Data Committee chair.  In order to review Metropolis Data, select “Metropolis Data” from the Main Menu.  Instructions for making a data request are also outlined there.

The second type of data identified on CERIS’ website is the “Metadatabase Data” (also under the link of that name).  This data is not restricted to CERIS affiliates; CERIS does not house nor manage any of this data.  From the Main Menu, select “Metadatabase then “Search” to search the metadatabase by data topic.  Persons interested in Metadatabase Data should contact those organizations listed in the Metadatabase directly.

CUHI’s inventory only identifies Metadatabase data.
