Inventory of Urban Health Related Data covering the Greater Toronto Area - Supporting Documentation

Foodlink Database

FoodShare has a program called the FoodLink Hotline (previously known as the Hunger Hotline) that is operated in partnership with 211 Toronto. FoodLink connects people in Toronto with food services, such as food banks, free meal programmes, community gardens and community kitchens.

Foodshare maintains a database of food programs in the city – Foodlink Database - including emergency food programs (food banks, free meals) and community based programs (for example, community gardens, community kitchens, student nutrition programs). For more information on data available through this database, conditions of use or to gain access, contact Jennifer Reynolds at Jennifer@foodshare.net .
